Autism Beach Day Out

As part of the April Autism Awareness month, CIAF came together with Cook Islands rugby and soccer federations to get the kids out onto the beach to enjoy a fun filled day of sports both on the beach and in the water.

Cook Islands Aquatic Federation’s annual Kau School Swimming Competition is underway in Nikao, with around 250 students from seven schools participating in the two-day event.

Aitutaki Swims to Success

Twelve young primary school swimmers from Aitutaki, showcasing their raw talent, participated for the first time in the Cook Islands Aquatic Federation’s annual Kau competition in Nikao, scooping up 11 medals.

In a bid to develop future national swimmers, the Cook Islands Aquatics Federation (CIAF) has formed a development squad of youth swimmers aged 10-17 who will be taking part in a training camp in Auckland next month.

Cook Islands swimmers achieved personal bests (PBs) and broke Cook Islands national records at the FINA (Fédération Internationale de Natation) World Swimming Championships in Melbourne, Australia.
